Gentell® Calcium Alginate Ag (Silver) Dressing
Gentell® Calcium Alginate Ag (Silver) Dressings are sterile, antimicrobial, comfortable, fiber-structured alginate dressings with high absorbency. These advanced alginate dressings absorb and contain exudate in a moist healing environment while fighting bacteria and a broad spectrum of microorganisms.
A reaction between the calcium in the dressing and the sodium in the wound exudate, along with a steady release of silver creates a gel that fights infection and can be easily removed from the wound.
Can be used on wounds, such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and surgical wounds or minor conditions such as lacerations, abrasions, skin tears, and minor burns.
