Utrata Capsulorhexis Forceps are regularly used in ophthalmology, especially during phacoemulsification procedures. These single-use, surgical-grade stainless steel forceps allow the surgeon to gently manipulate the anterior capsule after an incision. The tips of the forceps have little pads that help hold the tissue and prevent tearing. The spring handle assists in shutting the tips against one another with controlled pressure. Angled tips make it easier for the surgeon to access the eyeball.
